Therapeutics
Somatic & Creative Arts Therapy
Camilla works as a Somatic & Creative Arts Therapist with young people in educational contexts. Her most recent engagement was 3.5yrs at Hester Hornbrook Academy, through Learning Learning. Over this times she experienced this therapeutic approach as having a powerful impact on students’ emotional wellbeing and sense of agency - helping to reduce stress, process challenges, and build resilience. As a complementary allied health approach, it works well alongside educators and wellbeing teams. Through making, movement, play and conversation, students are offered a safe, engaging space to explore their inner and outer worlds. Focused on curiosity and creative process rather than artistic skill, this work enables expression beyond words and fosters insight, healing, and self-understanding.
Private Practice
Embodied Therapeutics: 1-1 somatic arts therapy in West Preston. Camilla has had a private somatics & movement therapeutics practice since 2007, she is delighted to offer a multimodal experience with the compliment of her Masters.
